Acceptance to The New York State Bar or in the process of receiving acceptance

A minimum of 1 to 3 years of litigation experience ideally in criminal law with a law firm, public defender or DA’s office

A junior must have a solid understanding of briefs and motion work

Ability to work on high-profile cases with discretion at all times

Good interpersonal skills to interact with a broad spectrum of people and organizations

Summary: Seeking a Corporate Associate Candidate to join firm's successful Corporate practice. Qualified attorneys with experience advising clients on corporate matters.
Key Responsibilities:

Advise public companies on disclosure and governance & exchange

Ensure SEC compliance

Work with a diverse group of clients (emerging markets, long-standing public companies, investment banks, etc.)

Provide counsel to investment banking clients on emerging capital markets and IPOs

Prepare documents for public offerings

Draft and maintain regulatory filings for clients

Draft corporate agreements, as necessary, work closely with M&A team

Provide industry-specific legal advice on emerging markets, technology and Med-tech and related sciences
Qualifications:

J.D. with bar admission (preferred in California)

4+ years of experience as a corporate associate, working with companies from startup phase to IPO

Experience with tech or life sciences
