Patent Prosecution Specialist
Location: New York, NY - Midtown Manhattan
The Firm: Major U.S. Law Firm
Compensation: to $80,000 as a base with paid overtime and comprehensive benefits commensurate with a major law firm.
Summary: Large, stable and highly respected law firm is seeking Patent Prosecution Specialist to work in their New York City executive offices. Candidates should have a minimum of (2) two years in a patent prosecution role as a patent specialist or patent paralegal. The firm is noted as having a highly desirable culture and offers career stability, security and growth. Duties:

Manage complex patent prosecution support work

Provide a high-standard of client services to Firm clients

Prepare, review and reporting for USPTO to include:

Applications; Preliminary Amendments; Notices of Allowances; Information Disclosure Statements; Post-Allowance Requests for Examination; Declarations/Assignments/Powers of Attorney; Payment of Issue Fees; Status Checks

Other duties as assigned
Required:
-
Two (2) years of related patent specialist or patent paralegal experience in a patent prosecution role with a broad understanding of patent policies and procedures as listed in “Duties”

Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Some flexibility to work paid overtime
