HRIS Data Analytics Analyst

Location New York, NY  - Midtown Manhattan

Summary This position is in the New York City global headquarters and reports to the Firm Global HRIS Manager.  This is an exceptional opportunity with a top global law firm that is highly desired to work for. 

 

Compensation

 

Base salary of $80,000, plus well paid overtime and bonus, full firm health benefits, 401K savings w/match, all firm amenities. Duties

 

  • Provides human capital data analytics support to the Attorney Development HRIS Department, which serves 20+ offices globally. 

  • Plan, design, and deliver reporting and analytical projects that answer key HR-related questions.

  • Perform data extraction, report generation, data visualization in dashboards. 

  • Generate and analyze data and metrics across the Firm to support data driven decisions with a high emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.  Communicate data findings and action items, both verbally and in writing accurately and concisely. 

  • Assist with ad-hoc technology and database projects & assignments.  Act as subject matter expert for reporting, training and troubleshooting of firm's human capital systems.  

  • Support the firm's performance evaluation & attorney recruiting process.  Maintain documentation of firm's human capital systems procedures. 

  • Responsible for employee records management in human capital management systems.

  • Analyze existing HR data management processes and propose improvements where needed. 

 

Required

 

  • Bachelor's Degree - Preferably with mathematics and statistics

  • Minimum of 3 years related experience that requires data analysis in a professional services environment.  Law firm experience preferred

  • Working knowledge of human capital management systems ideal

  • Working knowledge of reporting tools such as Crystal Reports, Microsoft PowerBI , Tableau, etc.

  • Working knowledge of DAX, SQL, R-Programming & Python

  • Working knowledge of HR processes and procedures
