Summary The Litigation Support Analyst E-Discovery Paralegal will be responsible for coordinating and assisting with all strategic technical and legal aspects of assigned projects and matters involving e-discovery; Consult with attorneys to effectively develop and apply technical strategies, meet requirements and goals to implement project plans, including data collection, processing and document production for trial.
Key Responsibilities

Support the firm’s litigation technologies including but not limited to Eclipse SE, ECapture, IPRO and DTSearch

Provide training to attorneys, paralegals, and legal secretaries in the use of litigation related software

Liaise with IT Department to coordinate technical resources for projects

Manage and consult teams on electronic evidence collections, performing electronic data processing, creating and maintaining document review platforms, productions, formatting and executing search terms/filters

Act as a primary point of contact for e-discovery between attorneys and outside vendors to ensure proper communication between parties

Ensure project management skills to manage a variety of projects with tight deadlines

Organize documents and coordinate document productions: Conduct the bates-stamping, redaction, duplication and indexing of documents

Set up and maintain files which are organized chronologically, numerically and/or by subject matter

Prepare for depositions and trials: Under attorney supervision, gather and prepare documents relevant to the deponent and organize exhibits

Work with attorneys in the preparation and filing of all court documents. Working knowledge of electronic court filing systems

Working knowledge of the EDRM

Handle special ad-hoc projects as needed
Skills and Experience Required
-
5+ years’ experience providing eDiscovery services and litigation support
-
BS/BA degree; Relativity Certification preferred

Possess detailed planning and organizational skills and have a thorough understanding of processes at each stage of eDiscovery life cycle

Proficient in a wide range of technologies

Strong verbal, written communication, organizational and technical skills
-
Experience with litigation-related applications (e.g. Concordance, IPRO, Live Note, Legal Key and Docket Administrators) and database administration
